PELION

Pelion – Agerocho stands at 1624 m. the mountain of gods and men, the lush green Pelion, brought from elsewhere. Pelion was the summer residence of the Olympian Gods and the home of the Centaurs. Mythical beauty, beautiful green landscapes, crystal springs, golden sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, imposing peaks, over 70 picturesque villages built in the traditional Pelion architecture, cobbled streets, bridges, mansions and traditional guesthouses.

Pelion is divided into East, West, North and South Pelion and combines the green mountainous landscape with the deep blue of the Aegean Sea and the lacy coast of Pagasitikos. Wonderful beaches, seaside villages with rich vegetation and traditional mountain villages make up a unique puzzle of beauty that make Pelion an ideal destination for all seasons!

East Pelion includes the villages of: Zagora, Chorefto, Ivy, Agios Dimitrios, Agios Ioannis, Mouresi, Tsagarada, Damouchari, Mylopotamos, Xourichti, Anilios, Fakistra, Puri, Papa Nero, Plaka, Banikas, Lampinou and Kalamaki.

West Pelion includes the villages of: Chania, Portaria, Makrinitsa, Milies, Milies, Vizitsa, Agria, Kala Nera, Kato Gatzea, Ano and Kato Lechonia, Agios Georgios Nilias, Agios Lavrentios, Agios Vlasis, Anakasia, Ally Meria, Katichori, Koutichori, Koukourava, Keramidi, Kamari, Agios Onoufrios, Afetes, Neochori and Veneto.

North Pelion includes the villages: Glifyres, Kato Kerasia, Ano Kerasia and Kanalia.

South Pelion includes the villages of: Siki, Argalasti, Xynovrisi, Metochi, Lavkos, Promiri, Platanias, Liri, Kastri, Katigiorgis, Milina and Trikeri.
